It took our breath away when it was first unveiled at E3 .

Now, developer Guerrilla Games offers us an extended gameplay demo of the highly anticipated PlayStation 4 exclusive, Horizon: Zero Dawn .

This gives us an even better and deeper look at one of the most promising titles on the horizon (forgive the pun). Featuring what appears to be an intoxicating blend of exploration and unique combat, the game is set in a sprawling fantasy world filled with mechanical beasts and other dangers. The protagonist, a female warrior named Aloy (inspired by fictional characters Sarah Connor and Ellen Ripley), hunts with a futuristic bow of sorts, and it's just plain cool .

In addition to this new extended footage, Guerilla released another video that gives you a behind-the-scenes look at how the team created that awesome debut trailer. Both vids are pasted in below; check 'em out:
