Retailer-Specific Pre-Order Bonuses, New Trailer For Homefront

Back in January, Homefront: The Revolution landed a May 17 release date .

The game was originally supposed to launch in 2015 but after a delay, we'll finally see the anticipated follow-up effort this spring.

And if you're excited, you might want to pre-order; depending on the retailer, you'll receive a bevy of extra goodies. Aside from retailer-specific bonuses, anybody who puts a deposit down on the physical format version will receive the Revolutionary Spirit Pack, which features the Red Skull motorcycle skin and a gold pistol skin. You also get the marksman rifle, a sniper scope, and remote explosives for your co-op character. If you pre-order digitally, you get access to the Liberty Pack, which nets you the Liberty Body Armor and the KPA Shock Trooper Helmet.

Now, if you're really excited for the game and you're a bit of a collector, you might want to spring for the pricey Goliath Edition, which will retail for $160 and features pre-order DLC along with an exclusive steel book, a 32-page art book, the Expansion Pass, and a remote-controlled Goliath Drone. Previously, developer Dambuster Studios spoke about the the game's free DLC plan , and confirmed that while there will be microtransactions, they're merely "shortcuts" and nothing will be off-limits to those who choose to earn their rewards the old-fashioned way.
