Oh Joy, Goat Simulator Is Finally Landing On PlayStation Platforms

This is what PlayStation 4 has been missing.

Coffee Stain Studios and developer Double Eleven have confirmed on the PlayStation Blog that the ultra-goofy Goat Simulator is coming to PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3 on August 11.

Previously released on PC and Xbox platforms, Goat Simulator on PS4 will support up to four people via local co-op, while the PS3 version will only handle two-player local split-screen fun. Plus, a new mode called GoatVR will make its debut; here's the explanation:

"GoatVR is the most authentic 'simulated GoatVR experience' that doesn't require a helmet or anything. Although it's not quite ready yet, we felt it better to stay ahead of the crowd and let it out into the wild. We still need to do that part where it connects to an actual headset but for now you can enjoy a simulated GoatVR experience without it."
