If you plan on tuning into the Video Game Awards 2014 on Friday, you'll be in for a treat.

Yeah, I know, some of you still think the show is pretty lame, but this particular awards ceremony has achieved more legitimacy over the years. They do seem to reward quality over popularity (most times).

Anyway, concerning that aforementioned "treat:" As industry journalist and personality Geoff Keighley revealed on Twitter , it's time to unveil!

One of them will probably be the Metal Gear Online revival but otherwise, we've got no idea what will be announced. Of course, these premieres will likely include games we already know about; all 12 won't be brand new. Even so, aren't you intrigued now?

This year's VGAs will take place on December 5 at 6 p.m. PST/9 p.m. EST.
