Want A Dissidia Sequel Or FFX-3? Go Work For Square Enix

That may not have been the best response to an innocent question.

During the recent Comic-Con event in Thailand, a fan asked Square Enix producer Shinji Hashimoto if either a Dissidia: Final Fantasy sequel or Final Fantasy X-3 could ever come to the PlayStation Vita (via GimmeGimmeGames ).

Granted, that's probably unlikely, but nobody expected Hashimoto to tell the fan to apply for a job with the company:

"You want a new one!!? for PS Vita? Oh. I’ll inform to the development team. If you have anything you want to tell them, you can tell me. You also can apply for jobs at SQEX. There is possibility for everyone but it might not be much as we have people from around the world looking to work with us. Our company also requires high qualification for new staff. But if anyone is interested, you may apply via our Homepage."

Now, maybe Hashimoto wasn't being a wise-ass; maybe he was actively recruiting. But really, he probably could've just said that they lack the manpower to make such projects happen right now, especially on the Vita. Something could've been lost in the translation, I'm sure, but those comments just sound sarcastically bitter to me.
