Music is always a critical part of any interactive entertainment production.

And now, with just one week left before the hugely anticipated Fallout 4 hits store shelves, the developers have revealed the details behind the game's impressive soundtrack.

Perhaps most surprising is the first name on the list: Lynda Carter. If you're not old enough, that name might not mean anything to you, but Carter played Wonder Woman on TV in the 1970s (kinda crazy popular at the time). She also just so happens to be married to Robert A. Altman, CEO of Bethesda parent company ZeniMax. And as the team announced on their blog , Fallout 4 will be the first title in the series to feature original songs written specifically for the game.

Carter, who also appears in the game as the character of Magnolia, actually wrote and recorded five of those songs. Not coincidentally, Magnolia is a singer at a bar in the town of Goodneighbor, and you can listen to one of Carter's songs if you visit the blog; it's pretty darn good. Her comments on the creative process:

"It was truly a labor of love. I am honored and thrilled to no end to have the belief of Todd and his team. I am really so grateful to have had the opportunity. I think it’s one of the highlights of my career to have been a part of the creative team."

Fallout 4 launches on November 10 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. In addition to boasting three times the amount of music as Fallout 3 , it also features 111,000 lines of dialogue and an advanced character progression system .
