It's a true old-school gem from noted game designer Eric Chahi.

As revealed over at the PlayStation Blog , publisher The Digital Lounge will deliver Chahi's Another World to the PlayStation 4 this week.

It was originally released for the Amiga and Atari ST computers back in 1991, and was later ported to the SNES and Sega Genesis in North America. Then, the title came back for a 20th anniversary release in 2011 on PC, which was followed by ports to iOS and Android devices. The new PS4 iteration boasts high-resolution visuals, completely redrawn backdrops and even a new cinematic soundtrack. It will also support Cross-Buy and Cross-Save for the PS3 and Vita iterations.

Chahi is known for making creative, involving games like The Time Travelers , Heart of Darkness and From Dust , but he might be best known for Another World . You should definitely consider taking a spruced-up trip back in time…
