Evolution Shares Three Brief Driveclub Clips

Okay, so Driveclub has been delayed until 2014. Doesn't mean you won't have other games to play until then.

And besides, developer Evolution Studios isn't receding into the shadows as they try to finish the game; instead, they're keeping the excitement level high by sharing several new gameplay clips.

They're short but they're tasty. You can check 'em out over at the game's Facebook page , and the developer says all that footage was captured using the PS4's video sharing features. There are three clips: One's a mountain race in Norway, then you visit Scotland, and there's even a "stampede" in an Indian forest. Bear in mind that Evolution intends to add improved lighting, reflections, AI and audio to make Driveclub a true next-gen experience.

They also say that when all those upgrades are made to the game, they will share footage of an entire race. And the good news is that we "won't have to wait much longer." After being announced as a PS4 launch title, Driveclub suffered a small delay and is now set for "early 2014."

The Sun Sets During A Challenging Driveclub Time Trial

Changes in daylight have a significant, even profound effect on driving visibility.

In the latest Driveclub gameplay footage, we see an Audi R8 tackling the difficult Salar de Surire track. It starts out all sunny and soon, the sun sets and we're driving with headlights through a series of quick turns, chasing the ghost car.

Driveclub is all about the connected, immerseive experience. As a community-fueled racer, you'll always want to top your friends and be at the top of the pack. In doing so, you'll sample some of the hottest cars on the planet, which is always a big incentive for the supercar lovers out there. The game looks and plays a bit like a Need for Speed , which means it should feel familiar to most.

The game will be a launch title for the much anticipated PlayStation 4, which arrives on November 15 in North America, November 29 in Europe, and February 22, 2014 in Japan.
