It was originally announced during the PlayStation Meeting in February, when Sony unveiled the PlayStation 4.

And even though it doesn't have an exact launch date just yet, most have assumed that DriveClub will be a launch title for the new console. The good news is that it'll be playable at E3 next week!

Developer Evolution Studios confirmed as much via Twitter . Remember, this is the game they've "always wanted to make" and it not designed to be an authentic simulator along the lines of Gran Turismo . They've said that it's all about "having fun in cars on very fast roads," so don't worry about it being too hardcore. This is the team that brought you MotorStorm , after all. I had difficulty envisioning a simulator from them, you know? Just not their bag.

Anyway, this should mean we'll see some DriveClub gameplay hitting the 'Net during E3, and that oughta be interesting.
