Dish Streaming App Headed To PS3, PS4

If you're a Dish customer and you happen to be a PlayStation fan, we've got good news.

Dish didn't only announce a bunch of new Joey devices at CES. As reported by Engadget , the company has announced an app for PlayStation that brings Dish's streaming content to the PS3 and PS4.

Dish customers can utilize the Hopper's functionality via its Virtual Joey software on both consoles, which means you can access your favorite TV shows whenever you like. This can be controlled with the standard Dual Shock 4 PS4 controller, or the regular Dish remote. The app should be ready to go some time this spring, and that will help solidify the PlayStation brand's well-earned position in the living room. A true-blue entertainment hub, you don't need any other device in your entertainment center!

Cable companies better watch it. The commercials on TV are rapidly becoming unbearable for me and considering the absolute atrocious quality of most shows I'm seeing these days, I might just be going all streaming soon. I'd have everything I need, I think.
