Did you think nobody would be interested in those purely cosmetic microtransactions recently introduced for Destiny ?

If so, you were wrong.

As spotted by Game Informer , the game's newly introduced Silver has been a supremely popular download on the PlayStation Store. The in-game currency – obtained by using real-world money – sits in a couple of the top spots on the paid DLC chart; only The Taken King expansion is selling faster. The most-wanted silver bundle is the $10 package that gives you 1,100 Silver; have you bought it yet? Or do you simply not like the idea of shelling out real money to get a bunch of emotes?

Previously, we wondered if the latest expansion would rekindle interest in the game in question and thus far, The Taken King appears to have done just that.
