It's undoubtedly one of the most anticipated games of 2016 and though this information isn't official, it's bound to whet the appetite.
It seems we have a leaked launch date and two special editions courtesy of Geekay Games; the site has published listings for the Dark Souls III Collector's Edition and the even fancier Prestige Edition .
It says both will be available on April 12, 2016 and again, it's not official but it does fall in line with the estimated April 2016 window. The Collector's Edition features a red knight figurine, hardcover collectible art book, cloth map, soundtrack, special collector's box and case, and iron-on patches. The Prestige Edition has the art book, map, soundtrack, patches and special case, but instead of the red knight figurine, you get a much larger Lord of Cinder figurine.
Chances are, these packages are indeed real and the date is probably accurate, too. But this is a Middle Eastern retailer, so it's hard to say if both bundles will be available – with these exact items – in other regions. And if you haven't yet seen it, feel free to check out our recent Dark Souls III preview .
