Borderlands: Triple Pack Coming Soon, Is One Heckuva Value

Okay, so let's say Borderlands is one of those franchises you always meant to try but never did.

And let's also say you've still got one of the old systems and you appreciate major bang for your buck. Well, then you'll be happy to hear bout the Borderlands Triple Pack .

This new collection features the first three entries in the critically acclaimed and wildly popular series – Borderlands , Borderlands 2 , and Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel – and it will release on November 17 for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. The price is $50 and don't forget that you also get all the downloadable content for each of the three titles. And that's a ton of extra content, trust us on that.

This follows Borderlands: The Handsome Collection , which released earlier this year and was unsurprisingly an excellent value . Now, with the Triple Pack , you can have it all while you wait patiently for Borderlands 3 . And in the meantime, you might be interested in Gearbox's other upcoming project, Battleborn .

It's more Borderlands action than you can shake a stick at.

2K and Gearbox Software have announced the uber-attractive Borderlands: The Handsome Jack Collection for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. It will include Borderlands 2 , Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel , and all downloadable content for both games.

It'll all be in high-definition, too, and the title will support cross-saves. Players can transfer save files from the PS3 and 360 versions of the games in question; just remember this only works within consoles of the same family (i.e., PS3 to PS4; Xbox 360 to Xbox One). We'll also get a multiplayer split-screen option, which will allow four players to enjoy the game on a single TV. Ah, the way multiplayer should be!

They even went a step further with a Claptrap-in-a-Box Edition of the game, which is now available to pre-order. They're only making 5,000 units worldwide, though, so you better move fast! This bundle includes the aforementioned Collection along with a remote-controlled Claptrap steward, steel case, and 12 lithographs. It will retail for $400.

Borderlands: The Handsome Jack Collection will release in North America on March 24 and internationally on March 27. It's great that new console owners will be able to play The Pre-Sequel , which only launched for PS3 last year.
