Wal-Mart Sale Includes PS3 Bundle, Discounted Games

Most of you have the PlayStation 3, of course. But maybe you want to upgrade from the "fat" to the Slim. Maybe yours just broke yesterday. Maybe you want to nab one as a gift for someone.

And maybe you're not crazy enough to go out shopping on Black Friday this week. That being the case, you should probably stop by Wal-Mart's website and take advantage of their game-related sale that does include Sony's machine, along with a list of titles that will be $10 cheaper than normal. According to the store bulletin today, you can go to Walmart.com and pick up a PS3 bundle that features your choice of 2 games and 1 Blu-Ray movie, along with the standard 160GB machine. This will only run you $388 if you purchase online, so that isn't a bad deal at all, but remember that the option disappears as of December 3. Also here's a list of the games that will be marked down to $49.96; there are some big-name titles:

Oh, and Wal-Mart will also have some cheap HDTVs this weekend, including a 46" Bravia LCD for only $698. No, it's probably not 1080p with 240Hz and a 6 million : 1 color contrast ratio with 3D capability (like mine), but it's a HDTV, isn't it? And you absolutely need an HDTV if you have a PS3…now, Sony just needs to give themselves a smack in the head, so they can realize they need to put an HDMI cable in every PS3 box sold.
