As time goes on, JRPG fans will have more reasons to own the PlayStation Vita.
We just have to hope that the titles they want will find their way to US shores. The good news is that most Atelier games have made a North American appearance in recent years.
According to Gematsu (citing this week's Dengeki PlayStation), Atelier Ayesha Plus is currently in development for Sony's portable. The game is slated to launch in Japan on March 27 and a Limited Edition will be available as well. This Vita iteration includes all the downloadable content from the PS3 version, and characters Mario and Odelia will be playable from the start.
There's also a Hard Mode where the enemy has more HP, and the designers have tweaked the game's overall balance. In other words, this should be the definitive version of the game, and that's always good to know.
