There's not much point in devising April Fool's headlines these days.

Even if it's slightly unrealistic, nobody will believe it, and if it's entirely absurd, everyone will just ignore it. So, rather than attempt one, we'll just ask:

What would be the single most unbelievable game-related April Fool's joke you could imagine?

Maybe a headline about Sony and Microsoft coming together to produce one universal console called the PlayBox? Nintendo quitting the console business to focus exclusively on mobile and handheld entertainment? Well, maybe the latter isn't quite so impossible, but everyone would scoff if they read it on April 1. How's about an "Activision is Bankrupt" headline? Or instead, "Call of Duty Calls it Quits."

It has to grab someone's attention, of course. Maybe we could imagine Hideo Kojima and David Cage teaming up to produce a "Final Fantasy-killer." It'd be hilarious because neither legendary designer has any experience in RPGs and yet, they both might want to make a role-playing game…for whatever bizarre reason. What are your ideas?
