Gori: Cuddly Carnage Eyes Late August Release

Angry Demon Studio’s zany feline skating and slashing adventure, Gori: Cuddly Carnage, is heading out the door this August. Get ready to grab your hoverboard and slice up some Ultra Pets.

A new trailer dropped for this cuddly yet deadly hack-and-slash, featuring more cuddly gore, fast-paced skating and slashing, and of course, the adorable kitty doused in the blood of the enemies. What’s more, we now know it’s heading out the door on August 29.

Cuddly Carnage sees you take the role of Gori alongside their foul-mouthed hoverboard companion, F.R.A.N.K., and ship-bound AI, CH1-P. Despite its cute demeanor, this game seethes more zany Devil May Cry slashing combat mixed with sick hoverboard maneuvers to slice and dice your way through the waves of Ultra Pets.

What do you think? Are you hyped for this cuddly toy slayer? Let us know below!

Gori: Cuddly Carnage Origin Trailer Drops

Angry Demon Studio’s upcoming hack-and-slash Gori: Cuddly Carnage drops a trailer detailing the origins of our feline heroine, Gori, and their sentient foul-mouthed hoverboard companion, F.R.A.N.K. Its origin story is about as absurd as you expect when you play as a toy cat slaying hordes of ravenous unicorns.

Apparently, “Cool-Toys Inc.” created what were called “Ultra Pets,” a companion that would not die, need bathroom breaks, or require food. Unfortunately, things went sour as the toys that went onto the market were not friendly and cuddly, but rather cuddly and deadly.

Oh, we’re also introduced to CH1-P, Gori and F.R.A.N.K.’s AI companion aboard their very own spaceship, because of course, they have a spaceship.

What do you think? Are you ready to slay some bloodthirsty unicorns and save the galaxy? Let us know below!

Guerrilla Collective Makes A Return This June

Guerrilla Collective

In just over a week, Geoff Keighley will be kicking off Summer Game Fest, complete with some big developer reveals and updates. But it turns out that’s not the only event to look forward to.

If you’re more interested in the smaller-scale scene, then turn your heads to the day before when Guerrilla Collective makes its return. PlayStation is, obviously, one of the event’s sponsors, and it already has some confirmed games as part of the event.

The games confirmed for this Guerrilla Collective are Mega Cat Studios’ WrestleQuest, Angry Demon Studio’s Gori: Cuddly Carnage, and Shared Memory’s Animal Well. The last of which will be the debut publishing venture for indie game publisher, BigMode.

The event will be both online and have onsite stuff, as well. It kicks off on June 7 and wraps up on June 13.
