You won't have to purchase the Limited Edition 20th Anniversary PlayStation 4 in Europe to have the special DualShock 4 that goes along with it.

Sony Europe has announced they will release the special 20th Anniversary controller as a standalone product in September.

The controller sports the classic gray color and the red and blue logo on the PlayStation button. The company hasn't confirmed this nifty nostalgic gamepad for North America, but you can pre-order right now on Amazon , so perhaps that announcement is coming soon.

The one difference is that the controller that comes with the 20th Anniversary PS4 bundle will have the iconic PlayStation button shapes on the touchpad. The standalone controller won't have that. Oh well, can't have everything.
