Bungie: Destiny Will Cater To Gamers Of Every Skill Level

Gamers of all skill levels should be able to enjoy Bungie's open-world shooter, Destiny .

During a recent Game Informer interview with Bungie designer Tyson Green, we find out that Destiny will suit everyone from the casual to the avid hardcore:

"We're building lots of encounters, and even activities, where it's not immediately obvious what you should do. And in fact, you're going to fail. Oh my god, you're actually going to play a AAA video game and fail a lot. When we say that we're building something for every mood, we really mean it."

Green added that the campaign will be more accessible and it's a good way of easing into the game. If you're already a FPS veteran and only multiplayer really appeals to you, you probably don't have to bone up with the campaign. Also, don't forget that Bungie was recently quoted as saying that Destiny 's competitive multiplayer will be "faster and more lethal" than what we saw in the Halo games.

Destiny is slated to launch for the PS4, Xbox One, PS3 and Xbox 360 on September 9, 2014. A beta test that is exclusive to Sony platforms will kick off during the summer.

I'll join you guys!

Actually years ago when a buddy and I often played COD together, we rigged our characters with mines and such stuff, found some good spots for them and then hid inside the trapped entrances.

So there we sat, like some hunters on post, drinking coffee and chatting and had a jolly good time, only replacing triggered mines with new ones as necessary and killed with our guns what left there was of life after they stomped on the mines.
"Campers", in other words. Hated by the rest, but there and then it was the right style for us. 🙂

sure, sure, thats what they all say!
till you start the game up and instantly find yourself up against people with weapons, armour, and equipment, 100 times the power of what you have!
exactly why i stopped playing online games.
exactly why i stopped playing GTA online, even when you put it into passive mode so people cant kill you unless your in a mission, they can still kill you as your coming out of the shops!
a level 1 with a pistol versus a level 20, with f*cking C4.
hmmmmmmmm i wonder whos going to win!
thats totally a fair fight……..

You guys should actually watch that whole video, he's got alot to say. Most of it good, citing borderlands, monster hunter, and dark souls as influences. Even Journey for a small portion..
