Battlefield 4 has endured a glitch-filled launch on next-gen consoles and PC.

But developer DICE has been working hard to deliver those valuable title updates. They've already given us one patch, and another is scheduled for today (Tuesday, December 3).

Many of the remaining issues involving crashing, freezing, and other annoying hitches and glitches should be fixed with this new update. The update will go live for the PS3 and 360 later this week, while the PS4 and PC versions will get patched up today. Here's a list of what the PS4 update addresses, as taken from the Battlefield 4 forums :

Chances are, this won't be the last update. But with each new patch, the online experience should get better, right? Here's hoping that multiplayer fanatics haven't all switched over to Call of Duty: Ghosts due to the multitude of problems Battlefield 4 has faced in recent weeks. EA worked hard to grab that market share away from Activision, after all.

Each patch hasnt done much at all really. A few things here and there but the crashing is still very much present. Some people will say they havnt experienced but its pretty clear its a burden otherwise they wouldnt be releasing so many patches.

Last night I played for 1.5 hours and got disconnected from the server 2 times. If I play more than 3 hours I typically can expect to lose a connection atleast 3 times.

I love the game its great fun. A lot of skill is involved. I wont stop playing becauseof this. However its very annoying.

I actually had no problems with the PS4 version until the last update last week. So what ever that update did made things much worse for me. My experience over the weekend was pretty much the same or worse than what you experienced with disconnections/game crashes.

Played for 4 hours in 64 player conquest and it was overwhelming to say the least. I didn't experience any issues with the PS4 version. Addicting and some of the maps are gigantic and some have CoD dimensions with frantic close combat shoot outs. I highly recommend this!

There were far too many issues last time I played (Sunday) to wait for just one patch to try again. Given Killzone's MP's awesomeness, I'm happy with this :).
