Well, maybe it's just because there are more Xbox One consoles available to purchase in stores…? Possibly.
During the PlayStation 4 launch – between November 15 and 17 – eBay reported that over 10,000 systems were sold at the online auction house, and the average selling cost was about $590. But the numbers are a little different for Microsoft's console .
While eBay wouldn't reveal the average selling cost, they did say that close to 7,000 Xbox One units were sold on eBay during the November 22-24 launch period. The gap may be even more significant, as the PS4 only launched in North America, while the Xbox One released in 13 territories around the globe. Both Sony and Microsoft have announced that their new systems sold over 1 million consoles on launch day; again, though, the launch regions for each are significant.
We'll have to see how the sales numbers look after the holiday rush is over.
when both consoles will be launched worldwide the situation will be about 3 to 1 for the PS4.
Also again bad news about the xboxone:tv problems in europe 50/60 herz problem,so the bad news is at least equal.
btw qould it be that finaly Fallout 4 will be announced on 11/12/2013?

Ps4 only released in one of three major territories, each territory can easily do 1 million launch. Xbox pretty much had a worldwide release already. Im not surprised that ps4 will outsell xbox by 3:1 when you total all the launches
Funny thing is, ps4 sold over a million in the NA. It hasn't launched in its home territory yet, Japan. PS4 has already outsold xbox one, by a long shot.
Maybe it proves that more people actually wanted the X1, whereas more PS4 buyers were hoping to sell them with a mark-up like that which was seen following the PS3's launch?
I think that the fact that the PS4 is coming a little later in the rest of the world will impact it slightly. I mean, a lot of those jumping into the next-gen aren't doing it for the exclusives (as evidenced by the fact that the best-selling title on the PS4 to date is CoD: Ghosts) so it isn't difficult to imagine at least some of them picking up an X1 just because it is available. It will be very interesting, I think, to see the next-gen sales figures in a couple of weeks time.
yeah we'll have to see over the sumer or winter for christmas for which ever hemisphere ur in summer for me down the bottom of the southern being in NZ
but the sales numbers will be interesting to see when all this smooths out.
happy gaming =)
