Ubisoft's delay of the hotly anticipated Watch Dogs has proven inconvenient for some.

That's because they pre-ordered the PlayStation 4 bundle featuring the game; such packages were available at the UK branch of Amazon. So what has the online retailer done to fix the situation? Well, according to one customer posting on Reddit , he has some options.

Amazon has assured purchasers that they'll still receive their pre-ordered PS4 on time. If you don't switch your order, you'll simply receive the PS4 console by itself on launch day. If you do opt to switch, there are five choices:

It's too bad that Watch Dogs won't be here until 2014, but don't forget that Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag will be a launch title, and you can definitely get a lot of play time out of that. If you'd rather, though, grab another bundle. There's still plenty to play!

Neither. I'd have pre order again on a specific date for the console only on a first come first serve basis

That's total 100% BS I would go right in and complain or call Target directly that is the only store I have heard of not following through on the PS4 pre-order. Every store I have heard of if you have the Watchdogs bundle pre-orer they simply break it up into two separate pre-orders and you just get Watchdogs when it comes out. It's not an official bundle so it's not like that PS4 suddenly vanished.

It's pretty much all the PS4, exclusive wise, has got this year. Way to really fumble the launch Sony. You had all the momentum you could want but instead you've ended up placing everything on a tired ip that will take something unprecedented to get high marks. Everything else worthwhile are third party cross-gen titles from extremely familiar franchises.
I wonder how many angry PS+ members there are now. The one's who got PS+ banking on having Drive Club at launch. Ouch.

I'm sort of thinking the XBoxOne will do better during the launch window. Forza, Ryse, KI, and Dead Rising (people like zombies), Crimson Dragon, and the looming promise of TitanFall. The next CoD-addict like craze.

…and to think even the Vita appears to have had a better launch lineup.

You would think that if Ubisoft were to delay a game because they didn't want to compete with one of their own ip's they'd have delayed AC6 instead. In my estimation the success of launching a new long running ip, Watch Dogs, with as much momentum as possible would have given it precedence over AC. Where AC would've been delayed instead as it's an established franchise that doesn't necessarily benefit as much from a new console launch line up.

I think all this phony bologny about GTA5 and AC4 as being reasons to delaying Watch Dogs is simply trying too hard to not believe the simple truth.
A big brand new ip made for 5 platforms is taking longer than planned. Simple as that. The game just isn't ready for the sort of scope it had. There's a reason games of this magnitude get delayed, hence why Rockstar would never commit to a GTA5 release date for so long. They know these things take time, sometimes an unpredictable amount of time. It's ready when it's ready.
