If you intend to go dungeon-crawling on the PlayStation 4, this is good news.

Blizzard Entertainment has announced that the expansion, Diablo III: Reaper of Souls , is currently in development for Sony's new console. It was previously confirmed for the PC, but there's no word on whether or not it'll come to the PS3, Xbox 360 or Xbox One.

Reaper of Souls will be playable on the PS4 at BlizzCon 2013 in Anaheim, California next month. If you plan on attending, you can check out the single-player and co-op experiences. You'll also be able to sample the Dual Shock 4's new features, which includes the "Share" functionality and the touch pad. The expansion in question will bring you a new class, the Crusader, and boost the level cap to 70. Plus, all the game's current classes will receive new skills, passive abilities and runes.

Also, don't forget about the change in loot: It will drop less frequently in the expansion, but the treasure that does fall will be better. Good plan; cut down on the vast amounts of crap. Diablo III is set to launch for the PS4 in 2014 (an Xbox One version hasn't been confirmed yet), so it's good to know the expansion will be available as well.
