If you want to talk to your PlayStation 4, go for it.
A Sony representative has informed Polygon that the camera for their new console will support voice commands:
"Sony Computer Entertainment can confirm that PlayStation Camera allows for voice recognition and we will look forward to sharing more details in the lead up to the launch of PlayStation 4 on November 29 [in Europe]."
This comes hot on the heels of consumers spotting an Amazon listing for the PlayStation Camera that included the feature, "navigational voice commands." As most of you already know, Microsoft's Kinect will also accept voice commands on the Xbox One. Is voice command something you'd take advantage of? And how well do you think it'll work? A lot of these fancy next-level features sound great in theory but in practice, they're still vastly inferior to standard controls. Could be cool, though…
