The free games have been pretty good this year and we’re getting a decent month in December. If you are a Plus subscriber these are six games that you can snag up next week. The best of which is arguably Darksiders II. It looks like December is a little weaker then it has been but there still looks to be a few good games in the list. Without further ado.
PS4
Darksiders II: Deathinitive Edition
A sequel to the first game (although it takes place at in time with the first one) you play as Death and it’s up to you to prove War’s innocence. Still an action adventure game but includes a cool loot system similar to something like Diablo. This edition is improved in many ways and includes the DLC.
Kung Fu Panda: Showdown of Legendary Legends
It’s a brawler set in the Kung Fu Panda universe. Up to 4 players can duke it out as the characters from the movies.
PS3
You get two games for one in this game. It includes both Syberia and Syberia 2 which are 3rd person adventure games with a distinct flavor. Expect to solve some puzzles and discover stories that have done very well for the genre.
A visual novel style game set in the BlazBlue universe. It’s a direct sequel to Xblaze Code: Embryo. Step into some alternate realities with this interesting and weird entry.
Vita
Forma.8 is a visually designed game that uses environmental story telling very well. Definitely a good one to have on the Vita and boasts some metroidvania gameplay. It is cross buy if you’re into that kind of thing.
Play as a bounty hunter in this top down, isometric shooter. It’s a pretty fast paced shooter that you can play online as well as solo.
