Do you remember on our recent post about E3 predictions ? There was a picture of a Bethesdaland amusement park map that had two “under construction” areas. Well, it looks like we already know what the games probably are based on a couple leaks that came out this week. While a bit unfortunate, it’s pretty good news for horror fans.
Wolfenstein 2 has been pretty much confirmed with the name Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus. Thanks to a German Amazon website found by NeoGAF user Chadskin .
Of course it was pulled down shortly after but the name coincides with a name that showed up last year at the reveal of Quake Champions.
I think it’s safe to say that we’ll see Wolfenstein a little later today.
The other game that was leaked, or in this case kind of confirmed, was Evil Within 2. An ad showed up on Reddit. The ad states the following: “From survival horror mastermind Shinji Mikami comes The Evil Within 2. Now available for preorder. ‘The only way out is in.'” Clicking on the link just takes you to the website for the first game. So that game is definitely in the works as well.
I wonder if these two games are what is supposed to be on the picture of the amusement park above or not. We’ll find out later on today when Bethesda has their conference. Surprisingly there have only been a few leaks this E3. So far.
What do you think? Does this news get you excited? Looks like it might be a good time to go back and play the first games.
