But what about the exclusives that haven't yet been announced? Sony's first-party studios are obviously cranking away on a few right now, so what are you most excited to see?
Is it Uncharted 4 ? That would be a popular answer, I assume, and I have to admit that it tops my list. Uncharted is by far and away the best franchise of the current generation in my estimation, which is why I can't wait to see what Naughty Dog delivers for the PS4. Remember, these are games that proved the PS3's capability and were undoubtedly head-and-shoulders above just about anything else in the marketplace, especially in terms of technical elements.
Many might say they want another title in the new The Last Of Us universe. And I'm down for that, too, but I still prefer Uncharted . Then there's God of War ; I wasn't too enamored with Ascension but it remains an absolutely elite franchise, and I'd be interested to see what Sony Santa Monica does with (or without) Kratos in the new generation. Gran Turismo 6 may end up hitting the PS4 at some point as well, and that oughta be gorgeous . We also can't forget about the distinct possibility of LittleBigPlanet 3 ; these games always redefine innovation and creativity. They're not some of the highest scoring titles ever for nothing.
Or, maybe you want whatever Quantic Dream is working on. The Dark Sorcerer , if it's actually called that…? Whatever they do, I'll be one of the first to support it. I also want to see the triumphant return of Resistance at some point (although it might actually be exclusive to the Xbox One, at this point), and Insomniac could also return to their Ratchet & Clank roots. Their recent efforts have gone in a multiplayer and strategy direction and to be honest, I just want good ol' R&C back. So, what do you say? What unannounced PS4 exclusive tops your "must have" list?

I'm still hopelessly hoping for that to hit the PS3, and somehow it would be insane for it to be transfered to the PS4 this far into the development cycle, but who knows…
I really feel like it will be for the PS4.

That's a damn good question, without a lot of improvement I think the top franchises on PS3 so far have reached their pinnacle and could go downhill without some gameplay innovations worthy of a new generation.
I'd have to pipe dream it and say Suikoden VI.
Uncharted 4, easily.
Same, that was the only disappointing part of E3..no Uncharted 4 announcement. But then I played TLOU and realized that I would rather ND take their time and create yet another masterpiece. (preferably Uncharted 4 of course, but anything ND would satisfy me).
Yeah, Uncharted 4 & TLOU 2 would be the announcement that would probably tip me over the edge…
That and definitely Kara / maybe The Dark Sorcerer from Quantic Dream would definitely help!
When they do release a new uncharted I hope they tighten up the controls and camera similar to the Last of Us. I started a new game of Uncharted 2 and quickly noticed how erratic Drake is when moving around. Controls were much more solid in The Last of Us.
Yeah im pretty much only excited about anything ND anymore. The quality in their games is the epitome of gaming right now. So Uncharted 4 based on the previous games quality is an easy choice for me.

I think you're right. It almost seems like its been an improvement every game theyhave released. Because Uncharted 3 was super tight and very controllable. Then The Last of Us has a super good feel to it. I mean really what you want. So im with you. But otherwise I have no complaints about either of the franchises, just gimme!

hehe World. you're expecting the XboxOne to do THAT well? Maybe at this point we should start expecting some third-parties to not bother with XboxOne.
It will do well enough or flex enough money to make sure all regular multiplat titles wind up on it.
I won't be surprised if some lesser profile eastern devs ignore the XboxOne knowing that MS's market will undoubtidly shrink this next-gen. Lesser profile as in Tecmo-Koei, Namco etc
Let's hope so, they really screwed the pooch by making titles like Tales of Vesperia exclusive to that one piece of crap.

The first Bully was exclusive to PS2, of course and later ported to Wii and 360. If Sony was willing to negotiate terms with Rockstar then the sequel could be an exclusive. Bully was an underappreciated gem and I just want a sequel.
The only reason it came out originally on PS2 was because that was the only system that mattered at the time, the fact that it was ported tells you they'd rather have it be a multiplat like every other Rockstar game. I loved it too btw.

I'd be up for U4 and some other games, but after playing TLOU… I can't wait to see how they can change it up even more. Make the universe more alive and vibrant than it already was.
I hate to say it Ben, but Insomniac is done with Resistance. I think they're done with Sony outside of Ratchet. Also, unless Sony sells Resistance, it's not going anywhere. Insomniac doesn't own it, Sony does.

Yeah, I've been wondering why Ben is thinking that Resistance will ever find its way to non-PlayStation consoles since Sony owns the rights to that IP. Did I miss anything about this one? Just wondering, of course.
Insomniac used to make games exclusively for Sony, but with Sunset Overdrive exclusively on the Xbone who knows?

We know they are busy working on something and I think we can be certain it isn't DmC 2. Also fans have been asking for HSII all generation. The only obstacle is how stingy Sony is about contracting 3rd party companies.
I mean there's that Heavenly Sword movie on the way so we can hope.
I'd say U4. Another Last of Us. A new god of war would be awesome if it went to another mythology. Killzone should be a blast and I'd also like to see another Enslaved or Heavenly Sword. As far as multiplatform… A new red dead… 1882 or whatever its called looks super cool and anything from quantic dream should be amazing. I would say the new metal gear but… you how know that goes. LOL
I would like to see another Motorstorm too. Oh and mayve another stardust or a game from thatgamecompany. Ooh and a PixelJunk Monsters follow up!!! That would be awesome. Cant remember if Fat princess was exclusive or not but i'd love to see another one!!! LOL

P.S. Am I the only one who doesn't understand what's so fantastic about the Uncharted series? I just recently managed to play the whole series and I was, while not exactly disappointed, not nearly as impressed as everyone else seems to be. Personally, I'm hoping they start a new IP again, hopefully closer to their platforming past (a guy can dream, right?).
You were expecting it to be great so your standards were much higher than when most people played it when they came out. I didn't know anything about Uncharted 2 when I first played it and it was so awesome because it was such a surprise.
They were very technically accomplished games with some great (video game) scripts and characters that pushed action/adventure to a new level. So if ya weren't impressed with any of that then I'd guess that kind of game just isn't your bag.
No I agree with you. I've played a little and never really felt what everyone else did.
But in terms of a new IP, from a recent Dev Diary from Naughty Dog, there was a computer screen in the background that had a character model on it which didn't seem to fit in with ANY of Naughty Dogs current IP's. The team that worked on Uncharted 3 has been working on something since that came out, so maybe it IS a new IP?
