In early March, we heard that developer Psyonix wanted to infuse another sport into the supremely popular Rocket League .

Yep, basketball. Now, we know when it's coming:

As the team revealed on the game's Twitter page , the DLC known as "Dunk House" is going to drop in April. This adds a basketball theme to the existing soccer structure, where speedy little vehicles try to knock an oversized ball into a goal. If you want a peek, Psyonix uploaded a brief glimpse of the new b-ball action:

We don't have an exact date and price just yet but when it arrives, I know I'm gonna check it out. It's freakin' Rocket League ; I have to. The game has been on a tear this year, as it will now have its own eSports competition , and it was also confirmed for a PS4 and Xbox One physical release in Q3 2016 .
