Star Wars: Battlefront really could use a true single-player campaign, according to many die-hard fans of the franchise.

And it seems one of the "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" actors would like to see that as well.

Actor John Boyega – he played Finn in last year's massive blockbuster – took to Twitter to ask about the possibility of a traditional campaign. Even though he's not likely to get it, you never know what might happen if enough people get behind the idea…

EA responded by asking Boyega if he'd played the Missions, which is the closest thing Battlefront has to an actual campaign. The actor replied that he had but he still wanted more and then he asked if he could visit EA's HQ in the UK. The publisher simply replied, "sounds like a date."

Recently, we got the first details for the upcoming expansion, Outer Rim. We've also heard about the possibility of nifty free content for all you "Star Wars" fanatics. But yeah…single-player goodness is definitely lacking here.

It needed a campaign. At this point move on to the next and do it right.

Good on Finn. Nevermind the controls though, those are easy. It's just plain more fun and fulfilling to play a campaign.

Battlefront is pretty sick on its own but a lack of a campaign in a Star Wars game with Battlefield machanics is a wasted opportunity.

A campaign would make this game infinitely better. There's sooooo much opportunity with the number of gameplay features, from heroes to xwings, etc.
