Don't think, just run!

As announced over at the PlayStation Blog , developer Bit.Trip has unveiled Runner2: Future Legend of Rhythm Alien , which will release for PlayStation 4 on February 23. The Vita iteration has been available since December 2013.

This is the follow-up to the 2010 original and it takes the ceaseless auto-running insanity to another level. We visit a "surreal, fantastical world" where we'll play as everything from a drunk pickle to a guy with a cheeseburger for a head. If you already picked up Runner2 on Vita, you don't have to worry about paying out more money; this will be a Cross-Buy title. If you've never had the pleasure, the game will retail for $9.99 on PS4.

Furthermore, the Good Friends Character Pack is coming to the home console as well, and it's going to be totally free! And if you didn't get that DLC on Vita, you may as well wait until the 23rd because it'll be free on that platform, too. The aforementioned Pack features some iconic characters, including Raz ( Psychonauts ), Quote ( Cave Story ), Dr. Fetus ( Super Meat Boy ), Josef ( Machinarium ), Spelunky Guy ( Spelunky , of course) and Invisible CommanderVideo.

Now this looks like fun!
