Developer Fun Bits Interactive has announced update 1.02 for Fat Princess Adventures ; it'll be ready to go later today.
The update delivers free extra content: Short Cakes' Tavern and Arena Mode. The Tavern "is the perfect place to meet up with friends," and Arena Mode unlocks after you've managed to defeat Zug in campaign play. Then you dive into the Castle Arena and move on to the Temple Arena, where you have to face down an onslaught of enemies. They're even updating the in-game store with the Super Awesome Hero Loot Pack (not free; it's premium DLC) that lets you fully customize your chosen hero.
Gold Boosts are also available if you'd like to customize your PSN avatar and show off your adoration of Fat Princess . And to celebrate all this new content, Fun Bits will be playing through all the DLC modes and content packs via their Twitch channel on Thursday at 4:30 p.m. PST.

Oh.. okay, now I know why I probably wasn't in the loop about it's release (or forced myself away from news about it)… it's not a free PSN game ehehe..
