We've known for a while that we're getting buggies in the upcoming Dying Light expansion.

But now developer Techland has given us our first great look at the new feature, along with a preview of how we customize these off-road rides.

In a new trailer called "Weaponize Your Ride," we see how players can upgrade and modify their dirt buggies in the upcoming add-on, The Following . Said producer Tymon Smektala:

"Your buggy is going to be crucial to surviving out in the open, so we want to create an emotional connection between players and their ride.

On top of the lethal weapons and upgrades you'll be able to add, there are a lot of cool paint jobs, a number of unmistakable bobble heads and little charms to put inside, so you can really make the buggy your own."

We'll be able to add all sorts of weapons to our buggies; there will be everything from UV headlights and ramming bars to freakin' flamethrowers ( that oughta roast some undead). There are mechanical options, too, like better suspension and more powerful engines, so it's a full-fledged customization suite.

The Following is slated to launch on February 9 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC and is part of the $30 DLC Pass. If you don't have the Pass, you can purchase this expansion separately for $20. Or, if you've never played the game, you could always snag the Enhanced Edition , which also launches on February 9. This upgraded version boasts better graphics, improved enemy AI, etc.
