February 9 isn't far off now, so Dying Light fans should be excited.

In a little over a month, developer Techland will release the anticipated expansion, The Following, which is reported to be absolutely massive .

And now, they've released a new story trailer for the add-on. The video – see it below – offers a new look at a few of the crazy characters we'll meet, and the narrator talks about a strange prophecy… Said producer Tymon Smektala in a statement:

"In the expansion, we're aiming for a bit of a different mood to the story. We all love some old good mystery, whether it's X-Files or Twin Peaks, so that's an element we're introducing to our world in Dying Light: The Following."

The Following will be available for PlayStation 4 and PC on February 9 and it'll come at no extra charge if you purchased the Season Pass for $30. If you didn't, you can snag the expansion separately for $20, or pick up the Dying Light Enhanced Edition , which includes the DLC and goes on sale on the same day. The latter package also features improved graphics and enemy AI, various audio upgrades, and even new parkour moves.

So, if you missed out in 2015, it will soon be time to remedy the situation.
