Fallout 4, PS4 Top Amazon’s 2015 List

2015 is over and Amazon has revealed their top game-related sellers for the year.

As you can see, PlayStation Store gift cards dominated, taking the top three spots, and the epic open-world RPG Fallout 4 was the best-selling game, while the extremely popular Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection PlayStation 4 console was the top piece of hardware.

It's interesting that Fallout 4 managed to top Call of Duty: Black Ops III for the year, isn't it? Anyway, here are the top 10 2015 titles on Amazon, after we eliminate multiple versions of the same game:

Related Game(s): Fallout 4

Even though I don't have it as of yet, "GOOD" for Fallout 4.

And see just as I had predicted here at PSXE, I told you all that the "Uncharted Collection" bundle would go over like gangbusters.
And you can also look to this bundle to start topping many more store charts too.

Any I'm proud to say that I was one of those "Uncharted Collection" bundle buyers, (although I had to get mine at BestBuy on the same day since Amazon had already sold out of them that day).

I just wish I had been there in time to get a pip boy edition. Some are showing up now but I'm spent. Overly. This new hard drive is causing some crashing, does yours do that?

Worldd,

No, mine's working fine.

I'm thinking that since you now have that HD install file all straightened out(and if you still have it on a flash-drive), and if you feel comfortable doing it, then maybe you should just take the HD out again & do the new install re-install cycle all over again to see if that helps.

Or maybe it could be that the new HD is gimping itself somewhat from all the jostling it got from the UPS or USPS transporting it to you?????(I'm not at all techie so I'm not sure).

Maybe, it just seems like it's slow too. Always accessing that thing making a funny sound. Was I supposed to do something special before I shut down and pulled the HD on it beforehand? I'm not tech enough to know what I'm doing with consoles. Maybe my system is just too new of a model.

I'd hate to go back, I like this thing cuz it looks like a VCR.

World,
I haven't noticed any slowness with my new 3T 3.5 HD. Maybe it's because you have the older model as I haven't got a clue myself????

I do hear the 3.5 HD(lightly) too, & I guess it's because it's sitting right atop of everything & only incased in a thin band of plastic wrapping it. It even sounds just like it would if I had a regular desktop computer sitting right next to me. It does seem to keep busy, I'm guessing to either access the game data it's already holding, or reading tons of game info from the disc itself, or while it's making the game's auto-saves.
But once I really get into the game, I hardly notice at all then.
BTW, all different HD brands seem to have a slightly different noise level, plus I think there's also a slight difference between a 5400 & a 7200 speed HD. Also the 3.5 sizes seem to have a noisier level than the 2.5's too(probably cause most computers are sitting low to the floor or incased in a desk so the HD manufactuers don't care if their 3.5' make some noice.

FYI: you should notice a very orange light or glow going on during all that HD noise(centered at the front panel), that's normal & it's just letting you know it's on the job & working.

Now, about doing anything beforehand, it was just for you to transfer anything you had on the original 2.5 HD onto a flash-drive(Pics, music, game saves & game data, etc) so that you could transfer them back over to the PS4's new 3.5 HD once the new "full" install was done.

BTW, that's where I had my only problem, once I tried to put all my stuff back into the new 3.5 HD from my flash-drive(pre-installed game data only, since I hadn't played any games on the new PS4 at the time), they wouldn't transfer(I'm guessing I did a step wrong or omitted a step somehow),
So I had to resort to manually putting each game disc back in once again to do their game installs and/or any game updates.

But no biggie, I only had 14 games to do & it only took me about 1/2 a day to do them all once again, LOL

I'll see it again today and then maybe wipe and reinstall.

The reason you can't just put the saves back on the PS4 seems to be that they won't go on unless you already own the game. The license isn't registered to the system until the game is installed either from disc or download. After that, the saves should transfer.

I don't mind the racket, I do see the light. I just need it to stop crashing and telling me that my installed data is corrupt. If it can't do that I'm kinda fucked, but don't worry man I don't blame you for it. I could try to sell this stuff. It seems the urgent loading is forcing the processing onto this kind of hard drive which isn't fast enough for it and info gets lost in the push so it shuts down or glitches.

Here's hoping it isn't permanent.

I'm not sure what's really going on with your problem, but I haven't had any issues with mine so far.

But with that said I don't know if I'll come up with any problems like yours myself, as I've only played 1 game so far with the new 3T in it, Battlefield Hardline, & that was only for about 20 minutes. I will try to play a little more today & see if I get any problems or not.

I'd definitely try that wipe & re-install first & I have a feeling that will probably solve your problem. If not I think maybe you might have gotten a bad HD?? I once received a brand new HD shipped to me that was completely DOA on arrival(I was able to check it by putting into a HD enclosure & the enclosure's green light wouldn't go on nor would my computer even recognize that it there at all when USB'ed to it).
