If you've enjoyed Destiny throughout 2015, you're probably looking forward to more fun in 2016.
And if you haven't yet played Bungie's super popular multiplayer shooter, there's an added incentive to dive in.
As announced in the developer's year-end update , all Destiny players will receive free loot on January 7; specifically, 15 Strange Coins and 15 Modes of Light. You can find these goodies at the Postmaster in the Tower. Furthermore, anybody who plays the game between January 7 and 10 will get a new exclusive emblem (which they haven't yet shown off), and these emblems will be distributed on January 12.
Lastly, Bungie announced the winners of its Sparrow Racing League Film Festival. The Grand Prize winner went to the individual who created the music video trailer you see below; it's set to Rihanna's "Shut Up and Drive" track. This winner gets a special edition Destiny -themed PS4 and some digital gifts. Head over to Bungie's website to see the complete list of winners and honorable mentions.

Can this game go away already. This game represents everything I hate about the current state of dlc.
