Or, depending on the results of the survey, Square Enix will keep the two titles as far apart as possible.
We still don't know exactly when Final Fantasy XV will launch, even though the publisher promised we'd get a date in March .
But might a new survey sent to gamers hold a clue? As cited by DualShockers , this survey consisted of 50 questions sent to Japanese fans and the company wasn't shy about being very specific. Question 47 was for those intending to purchase both FFXV and the upcoming Persona 5 :
If both titles were released at roughly the same time, which one would you prioritize (buying)?
Now, Persona 5 is tentatively set for Summer 2016, so this doesn't help us that much, but it's worth noting, at any rate. The poll further asks gamers why they're interested in Persona 5 . Obviously, Square Enix is trying to learn as much about the gaming populace as possible; you may recall they did something similar for Kingdom Hearts .
Related Game(s): Final Fantasy XV
This is what the question looks like for me:If both titles were released at roughly the same time, which one would you prioritize (buying)?
Persona 5
Persona 5
Iâll buy both
Long ago my answer would of been both but now Ill buy be buying XV only.. I loved P3 and P4 was good with P5 I don't like the masks or the shape shifting cat game looks gorgeous though!
I wonder if Ni No Kuni 2 will come out next year too
A big creepy bear that became a creepy dude works but not the cat?
Trust me I didn't like Teddie! During the PS2 days I didn't pay any attention to gaming media because I gamed off & on so when I saw P4 I bought it because I loved P3..
Persona 5 without a doubt.
Persona 5!, that FFXIII versus was supposed to be released after FXIII as a exclusive PS3 spinoff, how it ended becoming FXV and a multi next gen makes me doubt a lot about it.

That and SE kept asking the internet how they should make FFXV good. Shows they had no vision while making it, at least after they wrenched it from the hands of Nomura.
I would've found a "neither" button, LOL
weaaaaak
Sorry, just not into either franchise(especially turn-based games, except for collection purposes.
(And then I'll just wait till they're $10 bargain binned games to add them in).

I've never played a Persona game, actually. But I've become interested with some of the folks here speaking so highly about it.
I'll end up getting FFXV for sure because I guess I'm a glutton for punishment when it has the "Final Fantasy" label on it. Then again, I did manage to completely steer clear of Lightning Returns… but there has never been any motivation to get that one anyways.
Ever watch an action anime set in highschool? It's like that but with turn based action, a longer and better storyline plus making decisions to try to get the girl you want.
*Getting any girl you want is optional.
Always go for the Lulu's of the game. Although in FFX, Lulu like… changes her personality when she likes you. Didn't like that.
Given Persona 4 was amazing and turned based i will get Persona 5 for sure. I'll get FFXV after i finish Persona 5.
Care only about whether or not Persona 5 stays turn based. Care nothing about FFXV.

Atlus knows what made Persona games loved but its fans and haven't changed it. It will stay turn-based.
Persona 5 hands down! Even if FFs were still as good as they once were i would still pick the Persona title over a FF title.
only persona 5.. never played a final fantasy game and after hearing how terrible the last 2 or 3 titles were have no interest in and future installments… can't wait for Persona 5.. hope it comes to the US fast. and i know it's to much to ask, but i wish the game had real time combat instead of turn based.. i don't really like turn based combat.,.. though i'll live with it for persona 5
