Previously, the Xbox One was ranked #1 on Amazon.com's Most Wished For product list.
But no longer.
Sony's PlayStation 4 is now the #1 Most Wished For item at the leading online retailer. In fact, it's both #1 and #2; the Launch Day Edition holds the top spot and the Standard Edition is in the runner-up position. Remember that the only difference between the two versions is that Amazon can guarantee day-one delivery for the Launch Day edition. As for the Xbox One, that has slipped to third on the list. The latter will launch in November with a $499 price point, while the PS4 is slated to hit store shelves some time this holiday season with a $399 price tag.
And by the way, the PS4 pre-order bundles have also supplanted the Xbox One bundles atop the list, too. Maybe the news of Microsoft's epic bungling at E3 is just slower to reach the casual gamers out there.
It's funny and sad at the same time.
I agree. About 99.99% funny and.01% sad
To those who don't know, MS says its 500$ because they're over-delivering on value. People who get ps4 don't get a ps eye with it. With xbox one, you get it at the get go. Like people WANT a Kinect. At least Sony isnt forcing ps eye down our throats like MS is with Kinect. They made a huge investment with Kinect, and no one was really biting into it. Now its mandatory.
Don Mattrick also says people are prefering xbox one over ps4 because xbox one has everything in one bundle. Tv, games, sports channels, and more. I don't know if hes just lying to himself at this point to make the situation less dire than it is, or if he simply believes MS isnt in for a crappy generation lol I also like how most of the "exclusives" are either on pc or timed.
And then to top it all off, during E3 they were using a pc to run the games they were showing off. "That ran on the xbox one" It was actually a pc. So all of this combined and you get MSs real side. The one no one bothered to see this entire generation.
@Knightzane Dont forget it wasnt even run on Win8.. It was Run on Win7… They dont like any of their own products lol

They are doing their job, to try to spin the bad news the best way possible.
"Tv, games, sports channels, and more."
Yes, and how many of those services do we still have to pay for?
"Over-delivering on value?" What planet is HE on?
It's worth pointing out that the TV piece is available in "SOME parts of the US". And everything else is on PSN, too.
That goober also said in an interview with GTV that for those gamers who don't want to be connected to the Internet 24/7 they can stick with their 360. What a tool. Lol, looks like those gamers are actually going with the other offline console, the PS4.

The way I figure it, Microsoft hopes that the X1 is to TV what the original iPhone was to phones. They think the Kinect will have the same impact as the touchscreen interface.
Personally, I think this is baloney on many levels, but I bet that Microsoft's push for casual adoption of the X1 (which they are counting on in a big, big way if their projections are any indication) is based on this angle.
i think people are really starting to notice, theyve been blowing up Xbox's facebook page with hate. Its funny too cause i cant see them taking the page down and theres no way their gonna be able to delete everything
https://www.facebook.com/xbox?sk=timeline&ref=ts&fref=ts
And we've still got months of bad MS press to go.

just wait 'til it gets confirmed that the majority of XboxOne's high profile games running at 60fps ALSO run only at 720p, but 1080p on PS4 =p

btw i read somewhere this was confirmed already for Killer Instinct.
I missed the launch editions and ended up ordering the standard, but then I discovered the ps4 bundle are launch day guaranteed (on amazon at least) so now I am happy!
I wonder if Microsoft is reenacting PS3's success in the last gen? Nah….
funny, double switch.
ps4 is now the most wished for system, and the xbox one is now on the most bought list.
one also has had more days in the top 100 list than the ps4 has had too.
That's because there are five PS4 bundles in the top ten compared to a single Xbox One bundle. Jesus, dude! Quit looking at everything through those Microsoft glasses. It's starting to get pathetic.

@Dustinwp
Holy crap, your trophy list is impressive! I'm level 13, and that's the second highest of anyone on my friends list. And I play a lot of games!

Didn't bother me at all. I just couldn't stand for your flawed observation. If you're gonna comment on something you've observed at least try, to make an intelligent, none biased observation. What bothers me, is you don't even try to spin things in a believable way.
@big6
Thanks, man. I wish I could expand it faster but between working full-time and then working part-time as a personal trainer in the evenings I only get 1-2 hours a night to play.

Perhaps "_________" should change his name to "XBone"…
XBone? XBoner? XBonehead?
MS- Sh*t has just hit the fan lol

Funniest rebuttal,"Don't have internet? Get an Xbox 360"-MS lol. The correct answer is PS4 🙂
$399? So why is the PS4 $520 in OZ, Sony? When I do get a PS4 (…and I will, when there's backwards compatibility), I'll be importing my PS… again.
you don't have to cry any more as of 5:06 est on 6/20/2013 i just saw on abc news that microsoft just pulled the plug on all the nonsense they were offering on the xbox….so i guess the consumers win! good luck !
