When someone in the public eye trashes a game on social media , it tends to spread like wildfire.
That's what happened when Breaking Benjamin frontman Benjamin Burnley took to Instagram to show – and voice – his dislike of the recently released Star Wars: Battlefront .
Burnley said in the Instagram post that quite simply, "this game sucks," but he elaborated on that comment in a new WCYY interview , which you can see below. He certainly doesn't back down from his previous statements, saying once again the game is a piece of sh**, basically because the gameplay blows. He specifically cites one-shot kills as being a thorn in his side, all the more so because the weapons that cause those kills aren't earned or unlocked; you just "get them."
Burnley also goes after the "horrible" hit detection and the lack of a reward system, which means skill level doesn't mean as much. Lastly, he said that "all online games suck in their own way," which I have to say I agree with entirely.

Haha true though. Game looks weak
Tbh it kinda does sound like hes not very good at games in general. Alot of the stuff hes saying is just nonsense.
Well I am not some SW fanboy. I pretty much buy and play all types of games and SW Battlefront does not suck. It lacks depth and customization but MAN the game really pulls you in a crazy laserbeam battlefield with amazing animation and graphics. It feels like you really are in some intergalactic war. After playing it, when I went back for COD it felt like the characters are stupidly animated crap dolls compared to the crazy animations they have in battlefront.
And also this is just one type of game. He seems to like solo games. So who cares what he thinks about multiplayer games. He said all multiplayer games suck. Meaning he does not like to get his ass handed to him in any game and well only in the recent single player games where they now take your hand and show you what to do at every step will he feel at home. XD He can't cope with human intelligence 😛 And well I say that but I enjoy single player games too. But it feels like I have to play every type of game to not get bored 😀
What's wrong with people enjoying the game?
Never played it but what he says about spawn issues, basically no leveling up/very easy way to earn rewards in the game, then yah, this game should be in the bargain bin or retail $30 because of the great graphics it provides.
I guess being a butthole is one way to get people to notice your nobody band.
not really much of a nobody band, they have multiple platinum albums
More of a somebody than everyone on this site put together!

I can sympathize with the people just getting slaughtered in this game. I die a lot, like … A LOT. I probably have a 10-1 death-kill ratio, or worse. I'd hesitate to say it's because the game sucks though, this is most definitely because I suck at FPS games. I'm not an avid FPS gamer, but I'm a big Star Wars fan. Based on Ben's excellent review I thought this game sounded like a good fit for me. Now that I'm playing I have to say it is pretty damn frustrating just getting constantly annihilated out there. "Accessible" is not a word I would use to describe this game to anyone who isn't a die-hard FPS gamer. I wish there was a better matching system where they match players that are similar in skill/rank. It makes me not want to play.
However, I'm really enjoying the fighter squadron mode. I switched the flight controls for the analog sticks, so the right is the throttle instead of steering and I'm cleaning up.
It's weird. I'm consistently in the bottom 3 on any of the FPS modes and it makes me feel like I really, really suck at this. Then I'm consistently in the top 3 in fighter squadron and it makes me feel like I'm the freakin Red Barron!!
Cheer up, it just takes practice… lots and lots of practice.
I remember MAG and Killzone 2 were the first FPS games that I truly started playing MP matches on. I was consistently in the bottom 2 or 3 every match. Was frustrating!
The best tip I can give you for the most improvement is… LEARN THE MAP. Knowing the map and knowing where the enemies are going to be on that map is maybe 75% of the battle. After that, it's just luck and aim. =)
Good luck!
practice, been playing fps games for so long now that I can pick em up pretty quickly. It also takes a certain mind set to play mp shooters well, you sort of need to know exactly whats happening in the game and consentrate on several things at once.
like i said in other article, this isnt a first person shooter. it has that view but its a third person game. if you play it like call of duty or battlefield, you die fast. there are stupid guns like the homing pistol that has a map sized range and goes through shields. that one needs to be seriously nerfed. all other "one shot guns" can be countered by.. moving.. they are one shot but if they miss, theres a cooldown. theyre sniper rifles that you cant fire continously.. so there is a drawback compared to camper snipers you find in cod or battlefield.
as for tips use third person and hipfire while moving. thats it. theres no benefits to using first person. it limits your field of view. theres no accuracy difference between aiming down sights, standing still, moving, and hipfire at all. this is a very casual third person game. its better to keep moving even during firefights. staying still will get you sniped. i did this and im having more fun in the game. i wasnt doing bad before, between 1 to 1.5 kdr per game (most often close to 1), but now i get to about 3+ or so. theres no point playing first person when everyone else has more options in third person with the same accuracy anyway.
Dont get me wrong the game has various problems but this guy is an idiot.

Not everyone can fall in line, one at a time, and be ready to play.
He's not wrong. At first I kind of thought they made the game accessible to many people, which is true game play wise. And while getting new items literally only takes playing the game, it's arguable that's part of them making it accessible as it doesn't require some skill.
But the more I play it (because I do enjoy it) I think it was just bad design. I'm not arguing they wanted this to reach as many people as possible, Star Wars fans in particular. I'm just arguing if timing wasn't an issue and it created these design decisions that are being pointed out.
Either way, this game probably won't last another month for me. I'll probably onle play if I'm not doing anything and a buddy asks. Oh wait, I turned down playing last night.

You don't need a progression system in an online shooter like CoD, Counterstrike does just fine, however you have to buy guns with money you earn through out the rounds in that game.
I don't get quite why he is upset at the game, 1 shot kills are in a lot of shooters, is he upset because there is mad aim assists? That is a valid reason for sure.
He seems like a bit of a baby to be honest.
I would like to say I haven't played the new battlefront yet because of its ridiculous pricing.
yeah personally I couldnt believe they were selling the DLC for the price of the game O_O here in Canada. Didn't buy the DLC and got the game for 8$ trading 3 old games i finished (far cry 4, Dynaty warriors and borderlands collection XD)
I am glad I bought it and enjoy it very much but I am not sure I would have been willing to buy it full price XD and I'll wait for them to discount the dlc before getting it
we already knew star wars battlefront sucked .. we knew it would suck the moment it was announce as having no single player story
Yes Godslim you are right,
He don't know how to play FPS,
They made Starwars Battlefront so all can play, and if look at that clip he hits he Xbox one just maybe it's not the game but him not knowing how to play it.
The graphics are great and game play for me just as great.
Its Meh for me, glad i didn't buy it. I really enjoyed the last Battlefront but this one just doesn't have enough substance to keep me playing. I'd rather play other games in my back log. Fallout, The order 1886, call of duty even.
I've played it a good few times and i can't say it's no where near as bad as this idiot (who ever he is) is saying,i get the impression he would be crap at most games and as he can't play online games he's even worse and cries about it like a little baby, what the hell is he even on about online games shouldn't be online games because the internet can't handle it? well i can safely say i have no Internet issues so maybe he should call his online internet services provider LOL.
I have some friends who aren't as impressed with it as they thought. Some of the points they make are pretty valid, too.
But the points this guy makes are moronic. (ie. hit detection… hit detection is fine.)
