Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 5 was a mess. In the eyes of some hardcore fans, a travesty.

But Robomodo and Activision swore they'd fix it and now, a gigantic new patch has been issued.

As detailed by Eurogamer , the hefty 7.8GB patch delivers a bunch of content and general gameplay tweaks.

Patch 1.03 not only updates many of the game's characters, but also tries to focus on fixing and adding: We get two new levels (Underground, Wild West), new character campaigns (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Tyler the Creator), enhanced graphics, an updated tutorial, updated mechanics, several new multiplayer modes, and more overall user options. Here's hoping this patch actually makes the game playable, even if it still can't qualify as "good." And maybe, just maybe, if the patch is dramatic enough and Robomodo issues another one, Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 5 might finally approach quality levels.
