The Rainbow Six Siege open beta was supposed to have started today. But as some of you have already discovered, it's not available.
And that's because the developers have been forced to delay this test.
As Ubisoft announced in the publisher's official forums , the beta has been delayed for all platforms:
"We're currently seeing issues with matchmaking times and disconnection on all platforms. As such, we're postponing the open beta until a later time and keeping the game under closed beta status. We apologize for the delay and can assure you this is our top priority. We will keep everyone updated regularly as we continue to deploy improvements."
The open beta, as as previously detailed , will boast 13 different operators and 3 maps but obviously, we'll have to wait before we can try 'em out. Yesterday, Ubisoft confirmed that the PS4's resolution is tracking ahead of Xbox One , 1080p vs. 720p right now.
We'll let you know when Ubisoft provides us with a new date for the open beta.
