Lots of celebrities have already helped endorse the recently released Star Wars: Battlefront .

But not Breaking Benjamin lead singer Benjamin Burnley.

Evidently, publisher Electronic Arts approached Burnley about promoting Battlefront on social media and…well, the guy wasn't too receptive to that idea. And the reason is simple: He basically hates the game, a fact he made abundantly clear on Instagram . He posted a picture of a busted Battlefront disc and these fiery comments:

"They wanted to pay me to post that I like this peice of shit game .. They can shove it up their ass this game sucks I'd rather watch the god awful prequels then play this peice of shit one more second that's for ruining Star Wars EA :)"

Burnley is a "Star Wars" fan (for Halloween, he dressed up as villain Kylo Ren), so it made sense for EA to approach him. Unfortunately for the company, he obviously has a big problem with the game, which is a little odd, as there's one positive aspect of the title that everyone seems to agree on: It really does look and feel like "Star Wars." Wonder why he hates it so much…?

Most of our readers weren't interested in purchasing the game last week, but EA is still planning to produce more "Star Wars"-themed efforts . No surprise there; Battlefront will undoubtedly sell well.

He probably has depression and anger problems. Their music sounds that way and his behavior supports that.

I am a Star Wars fan and I'm proud of it. I actually talked someone OUT of gettiing a PS4 Battlefront bundle for their son for Christmas over the weekend. Like in real life. The parent had no idea the game was basically online only because they were sold by the commercials. Instead I pushed him towards the Wii U.

Also, I don't care what game it was his public behavior only shows his own inability to control himself.

lets see here. His father didn't want his 10 year old son playing an online competitive game in the vein of Call of Duty. The last console they had was a Wii and they liked it, especially Mario games. They were planning on getting the Wii U until they noticed the PS4 Battlefront bundle. Come Christmas Day he would've gotten a PS4, been excited to play Star Wars, then after realizing it's an online game with an pay to play online PSN fee it likely would've been returned. Them having to wait in line for hours just to get the platform they wanted to get in the first place.

Sure. I ruined his Christmas. Get lost.

Yet another celebrity I've never heard of. Don't really understand his prequels comment either..If he meant the films, the first three are obviously set after the last three making them sequels…if he's on about previous star wars flames, I thought they were great at the time.

He's talking about episodes 1,2 and 3. They were prequels to A New Hope, The empire strikes back and return of the jedi.

Ah thanks for clearing that up bigrailer19.

I prefer the Anakin saga personally just from storyline alone, but I guess to each his own.

I liked them also. Of course I'm not sure what that makes me haha. Most Star Wars fans did not.

Well to be fair, a lot of Star Wars fans do agree that it feels like Star Wars to some degree. But with Star Wars I've realized there's an attachment to the loir of it all. Battlefront is super accessible and quite good. But it lacks anything beyond playing the game. There is no depth and at that point it loses that appeal Star Wars has. Great graphics, good level design, competitive mp fun. But nothing reminiscent.

Furthermore I think it goes beyond Star Wars and goes back to the lack of a campaign. I'm not positive as I have no idea why he dislikes it, but I know Star Wars and Battlefront fans alike miss a part of the original games. I do especially. Because of the lack of campaign I'm suggesting Black Ops to people over Battlefront because it offers more. It's a worthy experience and quote frankly I don't think Battlefront has that appeal.

By the way those who are mocking his music, just remember they have worldwide success because people supported them. Not because he says his music is good.

They've been around for quite awhile and have had their music in movies and television shows over the years, so even if you don't know of them directly use have probably heard their music. I play a couple of their songs on the drums but have never cared for them personally, and now i see why.
