To some people, such specs are very important.

When asked about the frames per second statistic concerning 2016's Deus Ex: Mankind Divided , Executive Game Director Jean-François Dugas confirmed on Twitter that the game would be locked at 30 FPS.

It seems both the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions will settle at 30 frames per second, which is pretty normal these days. Many big games (like Assassin's Creed Unity and the upcoming Uncharted 4: A Thief's End ) go for 30 FPS even if they strive for the maximum 1080p high-def resolution. Of course, most gamers will say that provided the game plays well, it really doesn't matter; Uncharted has been at 30 for years and those are some of the best and most technically stable adventures in existence.

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided releases on February 23, 2016 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. For a few gameplay and setting details, click here .

Too bad gaming on a PC makes us look like giant losers.

I'm ok with it. But consoles are far more chic.

Sounds like someone is jealous of the glorious PC gaming master race.

Admitting you have a problem is the first step to getting better. C'mere and give me a hug, let the healing begin.

Seriously though this is kinda bummer news. When I first played Human Revolution, it was on a budget laptop and it hovered right around 30fps the whole time. Was a total blast to play, but the next year when I spent decent money on a newer gaming laptop and played it maxed out at 60fps, it was just so much more fluid, to the point that it changed my play style. In a game where you can, and often want to, switch styles and methods on the fly between stealth and assault, fluidity really matters.

Will definitely be getting Mankind Divided on PC.
