Sure looks like a beautiful town. Well, provided you're not being hunted.

Square Enix has shown off the location of the upcoming Hitman , scheduled to launch next year. It's the pretty Italian town of Sapienza and the video below is set to the song "Between Two Points" by The Glitch Mob.

We get a chance to see the diversity and scope of this attractive metropolis, and we also get a peek at how the environment will often dictate our stealthy approaches. The publisher offered the following as more information:

"From a luxurious mansion to the medieval church situated by the beach and the cramped alleys littered with stores, Sapienza is a dense location full of challenges and packed with opportunities and stories for the enterprising player to unfold. And as with all locations within Hitman, dark secrets and engaging stories are everywhere to be found in charming Sapienza."

The anticipated Hitman will arrive on March 11, 2016 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. Previously, developer IO Interactive clarified the content plans for the game, which will feature episodic-like roll-outs. When released, consumers can choose between the standard edition and "intro pack."

Great trailer. I already plan to buy this, as its one of my favorite series, but I admit I still don't fully understand how the release works. Am I basically buying a season pass?
