If you never had the pleasure of Darksiders II , you should consider the Definitive Edition.
Or rather, the "Deathinitive" Edition , which will be available on October 27 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
Now, Nordic Games has released the launch trailer for the revamped title; check it out below. The upgrade features slick new 1080p graphics, a new rendering engine to improve lighting and shadows, and better detailing for characters and environments. In terms of gameplay, all we know is that certain parts have been tweaked and the balancing and loot distribution have been "reworked and tuned."
Of course, if you're like me, you just really want to hear about Darksiders III . Get it done, Nordic!

Damn. This game looks bad ass.
I did some research on the game and apparently the dev themselves is Gunfire Games. Who consist of key former members of the last two games. I was curious because I knew the former studio disbanded (interestingly at least the head artist is now working on a Turn Based RPG modeled after PSX era jrpgs)
I watched part of their twitch feed. I was disappointed to learn the remaster is only 30FPS.

How are we all going to keep up with all these fresh new experiences coming our way…
I love the darksiders games. However, the end of 2 was very disappointing.
I loved DS2 dont get me wrong but I felt like DS1 was a way tighter game. I liked how it felt like a blend of god of war and zelda. DS2 felt more like a blend of Diablo and devil may cry, which is awesome but didn't quite get me the same way the first one did.
