We've heard developers explain in detail how feedback gleaned from a beta test proved invaluable and now, another developer has offered its thanks.
Ghost Games, the team behind this year's Need for Speed reboot, issued a beta test that let fans sample the game's intense gameplay.
Now, you can see how your feedback has helped the project. Ghost Games has shared some new update details. For instance, they've tweaked how fast you obtain money and customized vehicles, and they've also set about rebalancing some of the actual driving. The AI has gotten some TLC as well:
"When you hit the streets of Ventura Bay at launch you'll find AI competitors aren't as propelled by rocket fuel as they were at times during the closed beta."
Ghost Games continues to solicit feedback from those who participated in the closed beta. If you tried it out and haven't yet supplied your thoughts, now's the time to do so. You should've seen a survey in your email; did you fill it out?
As for the technical side of things, that apparently is going well. Need for Speed is slated to launch on November 3 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. The developers have said in the past they want to "modernize" the NFS approach and yes, it does require you to be online . No big deal, though, right?
