The single biggest patch in the game's history has arrived.

Developer CD Projekt Red has revealed the changelog for Patch 1.10 for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt (and here's the PDF file ).

Previously, the studio said the patch would offer gamers more romance options but obviously, there are many more updates and additions. In fact, CD Projekt Red claims Patch 1.10 adds over 600 fixes and improvements to the console and PC versions. Enhanced areas include stability, quests, general gameplay and inventory management. Furthermore, as community manager Marcin Momot explained in the blog post (linked above), the changelog doesn't even cite every single alteration.

This update should be available "in a matter of days" and clearly, they want it out for the rapidly approaching Hearts of Stone expansion, which launches on October 13. Check out the launch trailer here .

So this confirms the game launched with thousands of problems.

Actually, I'd say the first massive patch confirmed that. 😉 I think there have been three or four by now.

With all the bugs and other problems that were present at launch it has been the game that I've enjoyed the most this year. While MGS is still my favorite franchise, it saddens me to say that I enjoyed The Witcher 3 more.

At the very least I still think MGS5 will be game of the year.

Because MGSV doesn't totally please franchise fans of both the new and old evenly I think Fallout has a strong chance at it by many if it simply performs as expected.
I do expect some to give it to Witcher though.

I also think MGS5 will be game of the year, but it's going to be a bloody three-way battle between Witcher, MGS5, and Fallout.

I'll pick up the Witcher with the inevitable Game of the Year/Complete Edition once it's all patched up. MGS5 is gameplay perfection, and I never got into Fallout, so my personal opinion might be a little biased, ha.

@Temjin:i agree with you. It has the best gameplay out of any MGS but the story, boss fights, repetitive missions, and character development are lacking.

@PSTan: Prepare yourself when you play The Witcher. It's almost like drugs. On the other hand, don't forget about Bloodborne in the fights for Game of The year.
