The character development system in Fallout 4 is going to require some thought on the part of the player.

And why? Well, for one thing, the Perk Tree is is pretty darn huge and really, that's just the beginning.

Bethesda has released a new video, narrated by executive producer Todd Howard, that explains the character advancement in the anticipated role-playing game. Howard goes through the seven different S.P.E.C.I.A.L. attributes and the huge Perk Tree. As for the former, Howard says:

"There is a Perk for each S.P.E.C.I.A.L. and each rank from one to ten. If you have the value, you can choose it. So if you come out of the Vault with ten charisma, you can pick the intimidation perk that let's you manipulate and control other people."

There are also 70 base Perks available in the game, and each with multiple ranks that alter the Perk in some fashion. How will you set up your character? Will you play the way you played in Fallout 3 , or are you going to try something completely different?

Bethesda has also been releasing vids that detail each of the 7 S.P.E.C.I.A.L. attributes; the latest one was Endurance . Also, don't forget that we'll have the option of a $30 DLC Season Pass . Fallout 4 is set to launch on November 10 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.

I like to have a weapons type balance with high damage potential, tons of lockpicking and pickpocketing, plus a silver tongue.

I love how these games work around you but I rarely do anything super different. It's all about the world it's in for me.
