Yeah, it's true that North American and European gamers have had to wait a while for Dragon Quest Heroes .

But good things come to those who wait. Square Enix has confirmed that the action/RPG will release in the West with all the DLC episodes that have since released in Japan.

The only caveat is that you'll have to reach a certain part of the main story before you can access this extra content. When that happens, you'll receive letters at the in-game post office that will let you participate in the additional episodes. The expansions will also give you new costumes and a brand new playable character, and you'll even face bosses that previously appeared in the legendary franchise.

Dragon Quest Heroes: The World Tree's Woe and the Blight Below (one of those ridiculously long Japanese titles) will launch on October 13 in North America and three days later in Europe. Getting one of those cool Special Editions ?

Hm… sad that there doesn't appear to be a greater interest in this one. DQ meets DW? Uh, yes. So much yes. In fact, I believe I will enjoy this more than I did DW: Gundam.

Side note, still hoping I will be able to snag the Limited Edition pre-order before time/availability runs out!
