It looks like Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain will have no difficulty holding onto a 90+ Metacritic average .
But that's becoming increasingly rare. In 2015, very few titles have managed to do that. So, the question heading into the always-busy fall is simple:
Which title has the best chance of wowing the critics to the point where we'll see another 90+ average? Is it Fallout 4 , the game many believe could challenge MGSV for Game of the Year? Or it could be Assassin's Creed Syndicate ? If Ubisoft has addressed the complaints leveled at the franchise when Unity released, it's more than possible (although only one title in the series, Assassin's Creed II , has hit the 90+ mark). Then again, it could be either Star Wars: Battlefront or Call of Duty: Black Ops III ?
Any other ideas?
NBA2K16 If they've fixed the servers
I wont be playing any of those game coming out in the fall. I will be enjoying Tales of Zestiria and Dragon Quest Heroes regardless of the reviews. 😀
Fallout 4 and Rise of the Tomb Raider…
I'd say AC Syndicate has a good chance if Ubi can get it right, let's not forget it doesn't have multiplayer.
And also Fallout 4 which could easily get a 93.
Let's stop beating around the bush. It's of course fallout 4.
Couldn't have said it better myself Beamboom. 😉 Now let us burn that bush and erect a BoS statue made of the finest marble in its place.
Fallout 4.
Persona 5, if it's coming out this year.
Fallout 4 for sure. Maybe Rise of the Tomb Raider. Battlefront if EA does it right and it isn't plagued by some of the issues EA games have had in the past (Server issues, failed installs and etc.)
The only fall release I'm 100 percent positive will nail down a 90+ is Fallout 4. Star Wars could possibly get there as well but I'm thinking that will mostly likely settle somewhere in the mid to upper 80s.
