If you're an avid Driveclub player, you know the game can be pretty brutal.
So brutal, in fact, that some gamers have complained about the steep difficulty in later events. This complaint hasn't gone unheard, as developer Evolution Studios is prepping a new patch that will help.
According to The Games Cabin , next week's patch will let players adjust the difficulty as they see fit. If you're having trouble with a certain race, you can tone down the challenge; if you're a seasoned racer and you actually want the game to be tougher, you can amp up the difficulty (and no, I'd never do that in a million years, but I assume some vets would).
Additionally, the team is apparently working on a fix that deals with the issues facing those who use the Thrustmaster T100 as opposed to the standard controller. This is a game that simply gets better and better with each passing month; if you haven't tried it yet and you love racers, you really should give it a go.

Awesome. I need a handicap cuz I'm handicapped at racing and have a thrustmaster.
Wow nice! The T80RS I assume? Or dare I say, T300RS…
I normally like challenging games, but the difficulty on DriveClub is way too steep for me. I will definitely try this patched version.
Glad to hear, difficulty settings are a must in any skill-based game if they want to have a wide appeal, simply because not all humans have the same skill level or potential. Should help DC be even better :D.
Best driving game this whole gen. Best driving game graphics ever made.
Great that they're giving the folks more options. The AI in Rookie are even hard because they just don't care and crash into you. There's no race performance difference between Rookie and Legend.
